What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store two things: the email address you enter, and whether you selected Buy or Sell. We also record the date you signed up.

That is the entire set. We do not ask for your name, address, or payment details, and this site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Why we collect it

The email address is used to notify you when Certex opens and to share news relevant to early members. The Buy or Sell selection is used in aggregate, to understand the balance of buyers and sellers joining so we can plan the launch.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing.

Where it is stored

Waitlist entries are stored in a MongoDB Atlas database. This site is hosted on Netlify, which processes requests to the site in the ordinary course of serving it. Both providers act as processors on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist entries until Certex launches and you either create an account or tell us to remove you. If the project does not launch, we delete the list.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email support@certexmarket.com from the address you signed up with and we will action it. Every email we send will also include an unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data, including the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will remove the entry.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and revise the date above.
